T.G.I.C.

There was no T.G.I.F.-post past Friday, but therefor

Thank God It's Christmas today - finally!!! Couldn't wait for these last days to pass! As every year the pre-Christmas time is just dominated even more than usually by mad crowds of people (as I had to experience just too well yesterday in Antwerp (Belgium)), stress, panic, money - Christmas-business BOOM BOOM. And all this for what?! Maybe to realize on Christmas Eve that our partner still doesn't know our taste, or maybe that we don't like our family, or maybe that we actually are lonely, or maybe to finally admit that presents doesn't make us (permanently) happy?! So why are we giving presents to this and this person? Is it, cause we wanna thank him/her for something and give him/her pleasure, or is the reason just some "Christmas-equals-presents"-pressure that we human beings implanted in our heads?
For some the following might sound naive or cheesy, but represents for me the truth: Be honest, people, and if you really want to give pleasure, then try to present each other the most precious thing: LOVE.

In this spirit: Namaste and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! XOX
